Indicate whether or not this environment variable or the value that is appended or prefixed to an existing variable should be removed from the target system when the associated feature is uninstalled. Select one of the following options from the drop-down menu:

• Remove  This option removes the environment variable or its appended value from the target system if the associated feature is uninstalled. The following conditions apply:
    
  • If the On Install property is set to Create and the environment variable did not exist on the target system at installation time, Remove removes the entire environment variable that was created.
  • If the On Install property is set to Create and the environment variable did exist on the target system at installation time, Remove removes only the value that was appended or prefixed to the existing variable's value.
  • If the On Install property is set to Set, Remove removes only the value that was appended to the existing variable's value.
  
    
• Leave  This option leaves the environment variable or its appended value on the target system if the associated feature is uninstalled.
